I read recently
That free verse is not poetry
Will never be poetry
Never was poetry.
Sometimes I question it myself.
But the writer made it sound so...
Indecent.
Now when I set down to write
If it has no specific rhyme and meter
Then I feel *****.
Like I'm the lewd young girl
Who's gone around the block a few too many times
And then gone straight to her grandma's house.

It makes it hard to enjoy  the trip.
