Why?
Her heart yearns as her soul aches
Breathing in and out feels like a mistake
Once loved but not today
The notes they wrote pressed to her chest
Knowing each day he loves her less and less
She'd give anything to escape from this
Rolling over to hide her face
Crying is how she chooses to end the day
Why she pleads with no one why?
