Beautiful rain,
Bathe me from above.
Drench me In your joy.
Let me not hear,but listen
To each drop that falls.
The little notes of music,
The symphony you orchestrate.

You and I,
We'll walk together and
Take a stroll down memory lane.
The way we would run off together,
I would come see you when you came down.
I used to get in trouble for you,
They told me you'd make me sick.
But I never listened, cuz they never understood.

You engulfed me in yourself,
And I'd carry you around everywhere.
My clothes, my hair, and even my soul would be full of you.
And we'd take the walk of shame together.

But I have grown up now,
And I have responsibilities.
But every now and then,
I cheat on life, and come meet you.
Because nothing makes me feel young, like you do.
