The Dependency of Happiness
I know.
To you,
I look so happy,
So content.
It's all because
You're there to see me.
If you could see
Me without you,
It would be like
Day and night.
Without you,
I'm worrying.
Are you okay?
Do you hate me?
Is that smile on your face
As conditional as mine?
With you,
I have no doubts.
I have no fear.
I would protect you,
And you would laugh and smile.
And I'd have no thought
It wasn't genuine.
My happiness is dependent.
Dependent on my feeling whole,
Dependent on your smile,
Dependent on your happiness.
Happiness is contagious.
Depend on it.
