Clothed in Impermanence

Clothed in impermanence,
we choose to live
A life of stability
Full of love to give

Our days are transient
Our thoughts are fleeting
So we infuse our moments
With our love repeating

Love for the night
And the silence therein
Love for the dawn
When the daybreak begins

Love for the candle
And the warmth it brings
Love for the breeze
That the lullaby sings

Life maybe ephemeral
This is true
But it’s still a life
Bestowed on you!
