I
personally
have nothing to say
I let people talk
talking calms you down
makes time go by
brings the illusion  about
things were meaningful

as for me
I've got nothing to testify
someone gave birth to me
and here I am
sure I've passed life on
up to three times
should I apologise?
no question  of  blaming anyone
just a matter of cause-effect

should Your Honour insist
so on that day I was
showing some strangers around
at my workplace
that's on the outskirts
half an hour away
they praised some things
were nonetheless surprised
I would spend my free time
wandering on the fields

there I learnt to tell
gypsum from marl from clay
I saw rabbits hurrying away
I first heard partridge's
chuk chuk  chuk  chukaa

there I've cried of cold and coldness...
so as I was saying
I have nothing to declare
Obviously the speaking person is not the poet himself, although they might  share some features. Too much talkative for not having nothing to say.
