Float

The stars watch my departure.

Waving goodbyes as I

Drift away.

My bearings obliterated.

I am greeted with insanity.

It sets in quickly,

But the after taste…

It is sweet.

Pin ****** of light dot my conscious.

I can feel the memories,

They are heavy.

Pulling me downward.

But all I really need

Is to

Float away.
