Being small

I am small It is easier being small I don't take up much space I don't look anyone in their face I am not one who confronts I cower and scurry like a runt I turn the other cheek Like a religious freak I don't mind being small I'm fine with it but, will I crawl? How much weight can these shoulders take When the last straw hits i won't break I realize that this world is a small pond I live here among everyone hiding in the fronds For the sake of others I must grow To give strength to all from my soul We as a collective are too important To not become grand is self indulgent When I "became " I'm going supernova Going for broke superman move over I'll be a guiding light for all to see You should grow too please join me
