Like the moon in the night’s sky,
A beam of light in the darkness of my eyes,
Although, you are cold,
I could grow old,
Gazing at you’re wonder,
But we are destined to live in sunder.

I am here; you are there,
The separated pair,
Forever polarised,
True feelings masked in disguise,
Forced to live a part,
Carrying a piece of each other’s heart.

Both free falling,
Still trawling,
Through the fish left in the sea,
Since you, I’ve caught plenty,
Yet my net still feels empty,
I sink, as my heart feels heavy....
