What are you going to do
The day that I'm not around
I should have stayed where I belong
I never should have left my plow

Where are you going to go
Who do you think you are
I never should have left my home
Chasing that shooting star

What's going to happen
When no one answers my door

I can't take anymore
I'm going back to my land
I'm running back to my shack
Get me off this hook I'm not turning back
I'm not a bad joke you and your friends
Can laugh about
I've been on the fence
But I'm finally coming down
I'm going home

I've said so long
To all that I own
Said farewell
To everyone I've known
It never looked so good
Just passing through
I'm headed back to my land
I can almost hear my old man
I'm done with romance
And I'm done with you

I can't take anymore
I'm going back to my land
I'm running back to my shack
Get me off this hook I'm not turning back
I'm not a bad joke you and your friends
Can laugh about
I've been on the fence
But I'm finally coming down
I'm going home
