A Hero revered for His countless deeds
Lawful and righteousness He abides to
He catered to the townsfolk's endless needs
Yet, the citizen's doings were taboo

An orphaned child of seven winters long
Condemned as a son of the heretics
The holy see and the people were wrong
Blinded by their saintly verities

For the Hero saw an innocent child
Who was cowering in fear and dismayed
Justice was truth, and faith He would defile
Shielded the child and swung His sharpened blade

His prestige, tarnished and looked down upon
Virtue and fairness He chose to act on
