Your fingers intertwined with mine as
I beg you to pound the sadness out of me
You whisper sweet nothings into my ear
Knowing my body couldn’t handle it

I desperately wanted you to
Swirl those white lies back into my mouth as
Our bodies became water
Taking form of each other
Taking form of whoever we wanted to be that night

My hands found their way up to your neck
Your eyes glisten like you know what’s to come
My grasp gets tighter &
I watch your eyes roll back
Like you’ve been waiting for this your whole life

It’s been awhile old friend
How sinfully sweet to see you again
