As I traveled down that long forgotten road,
You were there, a helping hand.
Though words were rarely spoken,
Your presence was enough.

As the pitch black of night approached,
You didn't let go.
You held my hand through the darkness,
And led me to the new dawn.

As I stumbled from exhaustion,
You caught me as I fell.
I owe my life to you, my love,
A debt repaid throughout eternity.

As the dawn approaches, I whisper,
Sarah, words are not enough.
The warmth of your embrace
Becomes more debt.

Spend forever with me,
My love is all I can give.
