IN MOMENTS OF BLISS
(Bijoylakshmi Das)
The World is an Illusion, please take care,
Just close your eyes, you and your world are not there.

When you are fast asleep,
Your dreams lost in a dreamless Vast,
And while you are awake
Again get merged into all frivolous acts.

Amass not wealth, Oh Mortal Dear!
Be kind and love all and pass it on,
The treasure immortal not for you to do all alone
So be Compassionate to the World and do sail on.

You are not upon Earth to build castles in air,
But to become a successful participant in Eternity's Play;
You are the infinitesimal miniscule
of Heaven-rapt Ecstasy
And Godhead's choicest Golden Envoy.

You are left on the chosen station of life -
Awaiting flight for the next destination,
You are being endowed with a formidable foresight
To alight upon the Omniscient's blissful Kingdom.

You are upon Earth to unveil a future puissant
You are the reveller of a prescience prognostic;
You are not to trudge the dark solicitude
At your well-hidden Conscience' mystic forfeit.

You are to enjoy the unsullied Bliss
Entwined by the celestial hue,
To reveal the amazing future of Humanity:
The New Manifestation that has long since been awaiting you.

You are the incarnation of Love profound
Of the Divine Empire rich and vast,
You are the Captain of Creation's Playground
To play the most iconic all-transcending Act.

You are the Spirit of the breathless air
You are the sole-existent Bliss Immensitude,
You are not the body of blood and bone and flesh,
You are the Angelic Messenger of Beatitude.

Close your mortal eyes to see the Immortal Soul
To unravel the Mystery in an integrated Whole.
