Dec 2019
sin city, streets in smoke a-bustling
neon lights atop, flickering
devil in the shadows
gazes locked, heart strings tugged
she wanted him to steal her breath
skirting around corners and
stumbling into his intoxicating embrace
he tasted of a tender, poignant romance meant
to devastate her heart
yet is it theft when the target parades herself
to catch the eye of the hunter?
