THE CALL BEYOND
I gathered myriad hues from the Heaven
And planted roses in the heart for you,
Countless dewdrops from the dewy Dawn
Sweet dreams to make your life anew.

I spent sleepless nights under starlit sky
And spoke to moonbeams in their heightened mirth,
Betwixt Earth's Labour and Soul's ecstasy
Was lost my life's living worth.

I longed to soar higher in the breeze
Where there was no sorrow, grief or woe,
But my little physique's limited compromise
Never did let me go.

I sported with silence in my kingdom
And made companion with all-pervading solitude,
To march on the journey of my Soul
And rest eternally in the indwelling Beatitude!

I walked over meadows in twilight
And plucked saplings to plant on the vernal bed,
I made Tryst with the ocean deep
To merge into the secret symphony lying ahead.

I made friends with Nature's green,
That speaks of selfless Love and pure Delight,
I walked by the distant murmuring stream
Far hidden from all human sight.

I trekked over snow-clad mountains
To reach One Soul at the Summit,
I dived deep into the water green
That melted down under my feet.

I listened to music in rustles of air
Vibrant with divine rhyme,
I spoke to the Sun, the Mystic Fire
In perfection of spirit sublime.

Far away from the din and bustle of mortal life
I built the heavenly habitat for you,
To see you Blithe in Soul's endless Bliss:
The choicest sojourn
That was long since due.

I witnessed the waning fatigue of the Earth,
And the tireless toil of the Blue,
To make man truly human
And with everything around you.

Hopeless is Man and his castaway hopes
In depth of Falsehood's mud asleep,
Truth for him a distant dream
And promises never, never to keep.

So I walked far and wide
To collect the golden nectar and hue,
To see your life's brightest Sunrise with Mystic Fire around you.
