I was left in darkness
One after another - catastrophe
As I wished for life's end

Confidence was lost
Trust was lost
Gloomy as it was
The smile was lost

Until the day
He walked into my life
Bringing a little light
Day after day
Pushing me to strive

I am not alone
when I thought I was
I am smiling
when I thought I can't
I learn to love again
when I thought I couldn't

He saved me from the pit of despair
He loves me for who and what I am
He keeps up with my temper
He, as well, mold me into a better person

He is my life now
And hopefully, forever
