The way the moon drips,
Losing itself beyond the horizon.
Whilst the sun begins it's ascent,
That's the feeling I've got inside.

I'm sorry I really can't hide,
Though you know for a fact I've tried.

It doesn't make sense to me,
How two people can crash together,
And immediately fly apart,
Both broken in two.

I swear it's not you,
I don't know what to do.

The world is falling apart around me,
Oceans crashing into shores,
Leaving wreckage in it's wake,
What is left is damaged;

Broken.

Mangled upon the beaches of life,
Stranded,
forever reaching towards the horizon.
