I Betrayed
It spouts with my fervid blood,
The pain of losing to touch.
I betrayed myself and God
And now, my heart is losing time.
Death enquires my heart;
Choice made bestows judgement
I betrayed the one, intimate;
And now, I forfeit my atonement.
This baneful lie I shant convey.
The truth I shant unveil.
I betrayed Love in dismay,
And now, I pray, Grace to repay.
