Pale skinny bones
Blank white canvas
Washed over with colors
Standing alone in The Painted Desert
Fingers pricked from a desert rose
Bleeding heart stains my sleeves
Erosion shows no mercy
For exposed hearts
Sleeping under open skies
Feeling so alive
Staring up at dying stars
Hanging my dreams on crescent moons
Petals slip out of open hands
Blown over rolling dunes
I found a better way to die
This is a great way to die
