Where have you gone?
Our skies have gone silent
And skies turned grey
Oh dear songbird
Please sing us a tune
Fill up these empty rooms
With the sweetest sounds
Do you ever wonder
How bizarre we are?
We walk around with buds in our ears
But flowers never blossom
We can't hear the symphonies
Of our surroundings
It seems we enjoy our orchestrated chaos
Or do you get a birdseye view
Of us waging in our cages
while you sing into the wind?
Oh dear songbird
Sing us a tune
Before our garden goes to ruins
Before we forget how to plant again
Dear songbird
We are actually much alike
We both have learned how to fly
But it's us that have perfected how to fall
