May 2010
When I finally depart this world
and my body's all that remains
Remember I'm now a free man
no more shackled in chains

Send me off with joy not sadness
Remember my life with a smile
For I had my share of ups and downs
but morbidity's not my style

Weave me a casket of wicker
place me high on a funeral pyre
Set me alight to set me free
And drink as the flames grow higher

Let nature take my ashes
and spread them on the four winds
give me one last chance to make it
to those places I never have been
