Running.

I am running From you to them And back again Sorry I am But running all the same For I am too filled with fear To let myself close I tend to get hurt And this is just as much My own fault As it is yours My expectations are vast mountains To which you cannot even begin to measure up to And I recognize this But it also can be you Who rips my heart, apart I found myself so dark and bitter For I was trying To find everything I am in you So let me quickly race Pausing only momentarily With those I love For they are many But mostly, I am trying to protect myself.
