New Thought Movement: One.

She stopped and turned around, one last step before the door. She said to me, "I would never lie to you, every part of me honestly hates you." That slamming screen door still wakes me up at night and I can still feel the wind from that cold December night. Tell me what I said wrong, what should have gone right? Rewind me one more time, I swear I'll leave the bottle alone tonight. Speak softly in key, your heart in tune with the waves in the sea. Only reason for living was knowing there was a "you and me." My one last chance. One more hope at a lover's romance. We can meet on the moon, hope you're ready to dance because the thought of your smile keeps the blood in my hands. Maybe just let the time go, I'm sure I can forget.
