A 5000 View Thank You
I got 5000 views today
In just two months time
I never thought you would like
So many of my rhymes
I almost never listed them
For all the world to see
I held them close to my heart
Thinking they were just for me
Each poem a different part of me
A memory lost in time
Or a current thought of something new
That somehow caught my eye
Many are of my past love
And all the hurt that it had caused
The emotions that ran so very deep
And a healing journey of it all
Some I hope are funny
And make you hold your side
While others I hope have meaning
That make you wonder why
I have new friends that share this love
That have viewed 5000 times
I am so grateful that you liked
So many of my rhymes
