Flickering dimly in the dark my flame dwindles with each passing moment. Pools of stagnant tears ripple as I rush thru the dark. Coldness wraps its arm tightly around my frail frame slowly suffocating me. Gasping to catch fleeting sounds; my mouth looks as if I were a fish out of its bowl of water. Survivors blindly pass by never seeing my teary eyes looking to the ground. Heart pounding loudly in ears that hear nothing but lies that slither from forked tongues. This has become my reality my future always fleeting. Alone in sea of empty dreams while the screams drown deeper within. Vanished in past memories where only a gravestone is the only remnant of what was and never could be.
