Curse your unconscious beauty, always damning,
Curse your cheekbones and your full dark lips,
Your little ways of speaking and of standing,
Your lashes, the inch of skin above your hips.
Curse your laugh, and your glittering eyes,
Curse your long legs and soft smooth skin,
Curse your velvet sunlight in disguise.
You're a war I'll never win.
