Promises
A thread of promises
Made by young, bustling love
All left unfulfilled
Now tear the fabric of my heart.
Do you remember our yarns?
That spun images of bliss
Do you even remember the hue
Of the painting of our fledgling love?
When did we change
To become the rest
Please bring us back
To the fresh canvas of our start.
I want to sew a bond
So great and unwavering
That we can wear it till infinity
Without the need of a ****.
