I carried a secret
a burden to those close to me
The giant was much to bare
Alone, scared, and afraid to speak
You wanted me at your feet, at your presence, isolated,
From those protecting me
How dare you put your hands on me,
With no shame, no guilt, and monstrous ways.
I shifted the blame on myself as those around me did as well
But, I take my power back
As justice has prevailed
Victorious I feel, as the healing has just begun
The giant was no longer, but a sick, twisted boy, with a false identity
Reduced to a shadow of a perverse vicious cycle
