You were shushed before you cried
Then poisoned and cast aside
In the most purposeful yet purposeless way
You were left to slowly decay

You will never get the chance to walk
I won't get to see you smile
Or chase you down the aisle
You were left to slowly decay

Why would I whimper?
Whimper that my decision were a tad bit simpler?
But you're not dead
Because you were never born
In the most purposeful yet purposeless way

Ignoring family, friends, and even God Himself
I peeled my dignity and pitched it at the shelf
We didn't know how to play the cards we had drawn
So you were poisoned and cast aside

Now, my darling won't get to see another day
And we're doomed to to be judged and critiqued by the USA
If going back was an option, you would be alive
However, it isn't so we must revive
You were shushed before you cried
