Who am I to stand in judgement?
For I too, am but a man
A constant whisper condemns me
For I've chosen not, which way to stand

You find her guilty, say you all
This evil practice, was satan learned
So now you tie her to the stake
Thru innocent cries, this witch is burned

Sleepless nights, now haunt your minds
As you prepare for another trial
You claim the witch invades your dreams
As she screams her songs of denial

The color of her eyes are not quite right
So you say she's satan's daughter
Instead of her right hand she uses her left
Which means, another witch to slaughter

I dare not stand in judgement
Though you say I must choose sides
You say that I'm satan's apprentice
In league with one of his brides

One more stake has been prepared
The flames now scream my name
Ignorance is judged when time's no more
And you won't have the witches to blame
