Today hurts
I feel ok sometimes,
Until I hear a song that reminds me
Of the time we spent together
Even though it hurts I remember
I take that pain with me
Forever, Ill take that pain with me
I was the one who asked you to leave
Now I have tears on the ends of my sleeve
Left me alone in our house
Where the corners still smell like you
No, I'm not ok
But I am trying
I hope reminders of me sting
Like the cuts around my hips
Maybe you don't think of me at all
I will find new arms to break my fall
