May 2010
Every year I buy a plant
And dig it in the soil,
Then I cherish it, love it, all
Until it has withered and gone.

A plant that stands and grows real tall
Is the type I like,
But when winter comes again
It couldn't care for life.

I am left alone like a sabbat in the sun.
