The Answer

by sarah-earl

What is the answer? Well truth betold The more thats known The quicker all the lies unfold. Nothing can be proven true By the likes of either me or you. We all have our parts to play. Our own agendas bar our way. The mystery will never end While everyone has Leverage with which to bend. Another's will thrust upon them To ensure their role within the bargain. They fruitlessly try to shift the fate Which belongs to them or their compatriots. For what purpose may we ask? Sacrifice for a lasting love? Leave themselves to martyrdom? Whether they may win or lose, And whether they may live or die, What is truth and what is lies?
