It bothers me when people mention
that time will tell. I say they're
full of it, seconds, hours and minutes.
It all happens within space, not time.

You don't always have to flip an egg
but you don't want sunny-side
pancakes during any sort of
grief.  You got to touch

when you have to and put gloves
on when it gets sticky, have socks when
it's cold and a chainsaw when
you're trying to cut someone in pieces.

Sometimes you just got to trust
all your socks are being washed and that
you're only going to have a couple
lonely socks.

In a time of crisis the only constant
is change. Even the pope said god is sleeping,
but no one told the pope that God's
been asleep for a long long time.
