dark

puffy eyes, salty tears.

a thought run wild

lead her mind through fears

painted stars show

through the window,

the only light coming in

from the moon aglow

alone inside

alone she feels

she tries to walk upright,

yet kneels

her breaths gradually getting

slower with seconds

she gasps for air

but sinks while she beckons

her heart is heavy

why, what is wrong?

she's living her life in my terrible song
