There’s an unexplainable high I get from the deadening loneliness here in my mind; a surreal experience of mundane euphoria as I lay awake at night thinking of all the things that never were. The longing cry of my consciousness for a glimpse of the light I once knew in this world. The me that once was, I’m afraid, is all but dead and gone. Taken by the faked smiles I don’t have anymore and by the lackluster experience of life. Pretending to care about anyone that cares too much for me. A lacking of love for anything these broken days bring me, typing away at a message that won’t fix anything. I long to feel anything that’s real, it’s been so long. . .
