The hour of night

by alexmaiden

Alone I lay awake surrounded by shadows I scream but no words can be heard Only a whisper creeps from the wind against my window Lost in a dream? I cannot tell only moving shadows across my walls My body lays numbly and eyes wander The moon shines through my frost bitten window only to reveal something lurking in corner of my room staring Cold shivers crawl down my spine as the thing approaches closer and closer towards my bed...
