One day you’ll accept me as I am
Light and Dark
Black and White

How empty it is to force a smile
The same can be said for going wild

No good or evil, only purity
Said Mrs. Smith

As I am

Without judgement
With running or jumping
Without shouting
And without lips withheld

Just as I am

The air will feel alive
And so will I
Because I’ve done nothing to change it
I’m good with it

Those famous words again
It’s alright
It’s alright man
It’s alright

One day you’ll accept me as I am

The sand will be warm
And comforting
Grand and mountainous
Yet soft enough to pass thru your hands
Once it was hard to look at
Ugly
Shameful
Painful
Nasty and cruel
But we’ll get over it

One day you'll accept me as I am
