Sisters To Be

We often lay awake at night

While others are asleep

No one knows our sorrow

No one hears us weep

It's been many long years 'now'

Since God took you's away

'But' We still feel your presence

And 'that is' every day

May the 'wings of love' blow gently

And 'whisper' for you's to hear

For we shall always love you's

And forever hold you's dear

We know what's in our hearts

And 'that's' coming from above

That you 'both' showed courage and compassion

And you 'both' showed loyalty and love

We may be far apart now

And not be able to touch

For we can only 'feel' and 'say'

We loved you's very much

In life we loved you's dearly

In death we'll do the same

So stay in our hearts and memories

Until we meet again

Amen
