I sit atop the world looking out onto the horizon. My gaze is met with an intimate sapphire sky, whose clouds are illuminated by a heavenly light. At the sight of perfection, I start to cry.

I torch my dreams & when my heart emerges from the ashes of the burnt bridge to a long lost love, I crash into the tender embrace of simplicity. The burdens of greatness roll steeply off my back & I find a love who expects my unapologetic self & allows me to rest with peace in my mind.

The crystalline clouds stir restlessly, enveloping the sapphire stones that compose the serenading sky. I am left with a familiar of my love, in their purest form among the heavens.

My love stares upon my body laid limp on the mountain of realization & when I meet their eyes with my own, I see myself.
