Similar souls are apart
Worlds are full of words
Connecting us like glances

Antediluvian animals believe
In the ark, gripping tight to the floor
Often, getting splinters in their paws
The hooves are behooved by the floods
Befuddled by God's idea of puddles

It was a freeze-out, we reflect on our glaciers and icy rivers
Our pride was dying and lives were alight, dreams are memories without prize
