We drive with caution
Construction pollutes the causeway
As we journey forward
'Expect delays'
As if we thought
It would be smooth sailing
We think of turning back
But we sit and wait
Eventually carry onward
Every so often faking smiles
Making light of the
Stop and go method we've mastered
If only this mess would end
When we arrive at home
