i'm in my bed and in my head
i can see you lying so perfectly still,
so perfectly
here.

i'm in my bed and in my head
you're here,
kissing me,
and your lips are soft and warm
and i love how they feel
and i fall for you over
and over
with every kiss
and each sweet and stuttered breath
i love you.

i'm in my bed and in my head
my mind can't stop running and racing
and picturing you,
your smile,
your eyes,
your voice;
my god, how do i survive without you
gracing my lungs with the air i desire?

i'm in my bed and in my head
i'm kissing you
and your eyes are closed
and your head is resting back,
and i'm doing this out of love,
are you?
