They came for her in the dark of night. They took her away, extinguished her light.

They bundled her into a blacked out van. They said she wasn't part of their plan.

They abhor the individual , you must obey, you must conform. They hate any out of the norm.

They came again last night, snuffed out another light. They said he was an enemy of the state. They put him in handcuffs and hood, they shot him where he stood. They wiped away the blood.

They will come again tonight, looking to darken another light. They say it's for the cause, for the greater good. Another crazed with terror, dumbfounded underneath the hood.

The muted screaming silenced by hot lead spat from cold metal dispatched by a cold heart.

They will come again tomorrow. Curtains swiftly drawn as fearful heads hang in sorrow. Another light that shines too bright.

They saw me smile they heard me laugh. They look at me " you're next" they say. I laugh no more as they kick in my door.

My fate sealed because some useful idiot squealed. A party badge, cheerfully waving the flag. " Good boy" they said to him and pat him on the head. So easily lead!!

They will come again and again. They like control, like to keep the masses down. Be careful what you say, they will come for you...... one day
