Crawl into my sheets
Lay parallel to me.
I want to forget which limbs are mine
and get lost in the tangled mess of
our bodies.
I want you to remind me of the
hidden spots you like to touch.
Those places, plain and ordinary to
any others' fingertips.
I want to feel your chest push against
me as you breathe in a morning
of a night warmly slept.
Pull the strands of lonely hairs away
from the corners of my mouth
And kiss my lips
Make sure you are the first word
on my tongue.
So that you linger in my breath
for the day to come.
