Needle points of time
threading tighter
more succinct
on the brink
of a fine
work of art
to cloak and comfort
even whilst apart

Despite it all
doubt and difference
weaved it's way in

Isn't it funny
how taking out one
can unravel the whole

until all that's left is that endless thread
that you use
to string me along
