I sit on the side walk well cars drive by
Flickering lights upon my eyes

A hazy thought comes to mind
About a time I was actually warm inside

Fingers cold to the bone
A sliver of hope arouse

From my aching belly to my chattering teeth
I couldn’t feel the ground beneath my feet

Was it my time I had been waiting for
Or would it be another failure to add to my door

Soon I’d hope for it to end
Well my corpse turnt blue and neck bent
