A Perfect Sexual Assault Metaphor

by @alice_f_campbell

It's like you're tied to a train track with no way to escape. You know where you are and you know what's about to happen so you try to struggle, To try to get out of those ropes but there is no way. You hear the train, It's coming closer, And closer, And you can feel yourself getting scared every second more. You try with all the might you have left but there is no escape. Now you see the train, You know what's going to happen, You know, You know, But you just can't admit it to yourself. Now you see the trains lights. You're really struggling. You struggle with every ounce of energy you have left. You can see the lights more clearly now. Somehow you feel comfort. The lights almost looks... Serene, Like a dream. So your body slowly goes limp, It gives way. You now know in your mind there is no escape, Because the ropes are too tight. You slowly close your eyes... And drift away... Into the inevitable.
