Eating not to eat
     biscuit, eggs, and sausage.
Eating just to see
     family — wife and son.

Sitting ‘round the table
     with laughter and silliness.
How long will I remember,
     life in this moment?

How soon will this world
     cause me to forget?
This little Saturday Breakfast,
     this life in this moment.
